1. Is the Injet Eco compatible with all European electric vehicle brands?

Yes. The Injet Eco series is designed according to the IEC 62196-2 standard and features a universal Type 2 socket or tethered cable. It is fully CE certified and compatible with all major European EVs, including Tesla, VW, Audi, Volvo, and Renault.

2. Should I choose the 11kW or the 22kW version for my home?

It depends on your home’s electrical setup and your EV's onboard charger. The 11kW version runs on 16A 3-phase power and is sufficient for overnight charging for most users. The 22kW version (32A 3-phase) offers future-proofing for vehicles with higher AC charging capacities, provided your local grid connection supports it.

3. How does the Injet Eco perform in extreme European winters?

The Injet Eco is built for durability with an IP65 rating, providing superior protection against dust and water compared to the standard IP54. It operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C, making it suitable for both Scandinavian winters and Mediterranean summers.

4. Does it meet European safety regulations for DC leakage protection?

Safety is our priority. The Injet Eco includes an integrated Type A RCD + 6mA DC leakage protection sensor. This ensures compliance with European IEC 61851 standards, saving you extra installation costs for an expensive external Type B RCD.

5. Can the Injet Eco be used for Smart Home energy management?

Yes. With its OCPP 1.6J compatibility and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity, the Injet Eco can be integrated with Solar PV systems and smart apps. This allows you to schedule charging during off-peak hours or use 100% green energy from your solar panels, maximizing energy efficiency.
