Exciting News from the 134th Canton Fair: New Energy and Smart Mobility in the Spotlight

The 134th China Import and Export Fair, known as the “Canton Fair,” kicked off on October 15, 2023, in Guangzhou, captivating exhibitors and purchasers from around the world. This edition of the Canton Fair has shattered all previous records, boasting an expansive total exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters, featuring a whopping 74,000 booths and 28,533 exhibiting companies.

One of the standout highlights is the import exhibition, featuring 650 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions. Notably, 60% of these exhibitors hail from countries participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative, reaffirming the global reach and appeal of the Canton Fair. On the very first day of the event, more than 50,000 overseas purchasers from 201 countries and regions graced the conference, marking a substantial increase compared to previous editions, with a significant rise in purchasers from “Belt and Road” countries.

The Canton Fair continues to evolve to meet market demands and trends. In the previous edition, a “New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles” exhibition area was introduced, and this year, it has been elevated to a “New Energy Vehicles and Smart Mobility” exhibition area. Furthermore, brand booths for “three new things” enterprises have been set up, providing excellent business opportunities. Several “star categories” have piqued the interest of both domestic and foreign buyers, featuring a diverse array of new energy vehicles, including scooters, cars, buses, commercial vehicles, charging piles, energy storage systems, lithium batteries, solar cells, radiators, and more.

The entire new energy vehicle industry chain is on display, presenting its innovations and solutions to a global audience. With an emphasis on green and low-carbon power models, electric vehicles are progressively replacing traditional fuel vehicles, driven by increased oil price volatility and the growing popularity of environmentally friendly transportation.

In the midst of this transition, the “three new things” – electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells – are poised for market growth, a trend that is clearly reflected in the exhibition’s 172% increase in the new energy exhibition area, featuring over 5,400 foreign trade companies showcasing their latest products and technologies.

One notable exhibitor at this Canton Fair is Injet New Energy, located at booth 8.1E44 in Area A and 15.3F05 in Area C.
